The UNC Carolina Girls Dance Team promotes school spirit and Tar Heel pride through performances at football games, basketball games, bowl games, ESPN GameDay, and community outreach programs. The team also competes at the national level each January at the Universal Dance Association Collegiate Dance Championship.

The Carolina Girls is a proud affiliate of the UNC Marching Tar Heels under the direction of Band Director Jeff Fuchs and Dance Team Coaches Summer Renner and Cory Hunt Morgan.
